Like most great ideas, Range Gripper was a solution whose time had come. It all started with Scott, who grew up in a home of avid golfers in Apex, NC. When Scott’s dad, Dean, retired, he was finally able to devote himself to golf, full-time. With the constant frustration of losing track of your rangefinder and electronics during play, the idea of a universal holder began to emerge.
Scott tweaked the design to make it work with modern day technology. A successful entrepreneur in his own right, Scott then set out to build a dynamic team to make the “work” more fun. He enlisted the help of two other successful and talented entrepreneurs, Chad, and Clifton, what they would go on to call “The 3-Headed Monster”. Today, the three partners are revolutionizing how electronics are stored during golf play.
Golfing has always been a part of Scott’s life. He believes in creating products that solve real- world problems in the most practical way possible – and that's how Range Gripper was born. A serial entrepreneur, Scott lives for the chance to work on new and exciting ideas. Outside of golf, he feels blessed to have a loving family that supports his ideas and an amazing team of talented, like-minded entrepreneurs grinding with him every single day to make those dreams come true.
Chad is an entrepreneur, consultant, and guest speaker who has lived in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Over the past 15 years, he has helped to launch several companies and products that have been featured on NBC, Fox News, and CNN as well as a range of print media outlets. Chad has always had a passion for speaking and recently has been sharing what he has learned with local High School students about the entrepreneurial mindset…. OPTIMISM * PERSPECTIVE * GOALS
With over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management, Clifton has a diverse background that includes small businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies. A born entrepreneur, he has founded three successful companies, bringing a talent for sales and creative strategies to the Range Gripper team. When he isn’t negotiating a deal, you might find him at a sporting event, watching Clemson Tiger athletics, or spending time with his family.
